While I don't qualify as a "young adult," I myself eliminated the credit card debt I was carrying during that same period. I also moved my money from a large corporate bank to a smaller local one.
A recent poll finds 50% of Americans want to break up the big banks, and I support that. But if we want that to happen, we have to act. We can start with our own money.
