I spent most of the day on Saturday helping other excited Obama campaign volunteers staff a table at the corner of 4th and Pine in Downtown Seattle, offering buttons, bumperstickers and the chance to take a photo with Obama (or at least a facsimile). The crowd of passers by were almost universally enthusiatic and supportive, save for a clatch of Pro-Palin frat-boys and a screaming, embittered Hillary supporter threatening to write-in her name.Some scary Palinians are not at all pleased to see Pro-Obama folks protesting her rally.
"Well, the correct answer is, he [Obama] is not a Muslim, he's a Christian. He's always been a Christian," he said. "But the really right answer is, what if he is? Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answer's no, that's not America. Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president? Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, 'He's a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists.' This is not the way we should be doing it in America."

Apparently Lynda "Wonder Woman" Carter is not amused about comparisons between Sarah Palin and Carter's former role on TV.
